Getting Nationwide Pet Insurance is the best decision!

I did a lot of research prior to purchasing pet insurance for our new puppy back in August 2019. I had numerous conversations with the customer service centers for several insurance companies. Nationwide stood out to be because they were very thorough and detailed in explaining to me the different levels of coverage. They asked well thought out questions that indicated to me that they were listening. They explained the ease of the claims process. and the various ways you can submit claims and receive payments. The bonus for me was after I signed up, my sister told me that they have the same pet insurance company for their dog as well. Thank you Nationwide, best decision EVER!

Everything is great except the increased price

I have had Nationwide Pet Ins. (formerly VPI) on all of my dogs for the past 15 years and have always been pleased until 2020 when my premium increased by $60.00 a month. As a single female, senior citizen, it actually pushed me out of my budget range of affordability. There are SO many pet ins. companies out there begging for business who have customized plans. The only reason I didn’t switch is that my pup is 11 years old, has been covered by Nationwide since Day 1 and didn’t want the hassle of starting with a new company so far into this relationship. However, with my next rescue pups, will go elsewhere as cannot afford NW. Their max amounts paid per diagnosis are fairly low in comparison to some of the other pet ins. companies.
