Exceeded my Expectations
I have been very satisfied with the customer service, friendliness, and the ease of claims.
The only feedback I had was that the insurance took a few weeks to start. I had gotten a new pup that I wanted to take to the vet to get checked up (as most people would). It was not feasible for me to wait a few weeks until the insurance kicked in. I knew I would have to pay anyway since there was a $250 deductible, but I was not happy about this not being applied. If anything I would think the risk for the insurer is higher for me to wait and not get the checkup. Would have liked some flexibility there.

What a lifesaver!
We hoped we'd never have to use our insurance for our sweet dog, Sadie, but after several health issues, having the plan has been a life- and wallet-saver. I've also been super impressed with the recent improvements with your claim submission options and processing times.

Fantastic!
Our puppy developed a rare and potentially deadly bone infection. Nationwide has been a fantastic partner in his care. They have checked in on him repeatedly and reminded us of resources available to us. Claims have been paid promptly, with no hassles or undue questions. I highly recommend!

Filing a claim and receiving an online payment is a cinch. I have nothing but great things to say about Nationwide Pet. And.. I have a Frenchie who gets herself in to some interesting health situations!

The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees.
All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.
Payout Limits
Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances.
There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.
Deductible
Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000.
Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.
Age Limits
No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Waiting Period

Exclusions
