Nationwide Pet insurance for Life

We love Nationwide Pet insurance. My only regret is not getting it sooner. Our 12 week old puppy was bit by a rattlesnake and is fully recovered, but if we had already found this pet insurance we would've saved $5k. Since having pet insurance it had saved us money ever year and our dogs receive better care more often because I'm not afraid of the cost. Nationwide is on Sophie and Stanley's side.

Nationwide insurance really came thru for this vet visit

Roxie seems to feel the need to eat just about everything, socks, underwear, washcloths....ect. She used to bring them back up, but this time she was not able to and had to have surgery to retrieve the socks. She is doing great and the expense was one less thing I had to worry about thanks to Nationwide insurance!

Reliable and quick turnaround for reimbursement.

The reimbursement process was really easy the first time and I was able to do the same process easier the following times. Each claim that we submitted was accepted and processed after a few business days. Nationwide is clear with their policy terms and the reimbursement followed that. No surprises and quick turnaround. Very dependable.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
