Pleasantly surprised

I was skeptical about getting pet insurance since this was the first time I have ever had it for any of my animals. My employer offered it with my regular health insurance so I figured I'd give it a try. I would have to say I am extremely satisfied and have already recommended to other that I work with. It has been very easy to file claims and payments have been very fast with Chase payments. Thanks Nationwide for all you have done for Sammi.

The best! Quick review and payment of invoice.

The staff are very patient, responsive, knowable, and supportive. Payments are quicker than they say they would be and extremely helpful in time of need.

Nationwide is fantastic

Nationwide has been extremely helpful in the expenses with our latest fur missile. The ease of claims and the rapid reimbursement are a fine asset. The whole process is easy to do and no drama. Thanks for a great product for my Thor.

My dog was saved by Nationwide Insurance

I had another pet insurance, and was very unhappy, so I switched to Nationwide that was recommended by 2 different people. I had a large claim for my dog. The customer service people were very friendly and concerned about my dog. My claim was paid very quickly with no complications. I feel blessed to have found Nationwide insurance.

Super Easy and Helpful

Honestly not sure what my wife and I would do without this coverage. It has been a blessing. Our dog has had some unfortunate luck and we want the best care for him and you have allowed us to do that for him.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
