Nationwide is awesome and turns claims around super fast

Nationwide Pet insurance has been one of the best things I've purchased in a long time. I know my cats are well taken care when it comes to their health and well-being. Keep up the good work.

Glad it was only a UTI

Bella, our deer head chihuahua mix was not well and her urine was not smelling good. We went to the vet and thankfully it was a bad bad e coli UTI And needed medication. I am so happy that we had insurance on her since they vet kept telling us it was not a UTI. After a few urine tests finally we had an answer. Bella was on augmentin for 15 days and is feeling so much better. I am so happy she is back to being herself. Thank you!

VPI MAKES IT EASY

I have been a client for over 15 years and I could not reccomend VPI more highly. There are lots of pet insurance companies to choose from these days, yet I have stayed with VPI. The process from vet visit to process a claim has been made so simple (on line). And the reimbursement is via direct deposit and usually within a week. I0 dog paw rating🐕

excellent and quick claim process

Nationwide pet insurance has a very effective claim process. I like the fact that as soon as they receive the claim, they email me and let me know they are working on it. They then email you with the results of the claim process. This is done very quickly.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
