Quick and Easy

I love how easy it is to start a claim, and have been amazed at the quick turn around time for receiving reimbursement! Our plan coverage is amazing and the peace of it provides my family is better than I can describe. Customer service is EXCELLENT!

Quick and Effortless

Pros - The claim form is pre-filled with my and my pet’s information, which is very helpful and time saving. - The veterinarian’s office took care of filling out the rest of the form and even submitted the form for me. I thought that was great and all offices should do that. - The claim was processed within days and the money direct deposited to my account. I really like the fact that we have that option instead of waiting weeks for a check. Cons - None at the moment All in all, It was a very quick and effortless experience on my part. I definitely recommend purchasing Nationwide pet insurance, especially if it’s available through your employer.

Good response time

I never have any problems with submitting claims, quick turnaround on payment. I have an older dog and sm grateful to have the pet insurance. All the dogs I have had were insured.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
