MetLife | Pet Insurance Review

This is my first time purchasing pet insurance through this company. I am hoping for great customer service where the cost of the insurance is worth the coverage. I am hoping not to get the runaround with customer service where reimbursement is not worth the monthly expense.

This experience was way better than the last experience I had, because how long it took to process my claim and the fact, there was an issue with me sending all the information you guys needed, but no one contacted me so I could correct it.

I have had MetLife Pet Insurance since I adopted my boy cat as a kitten, with an incredible plan that I was offered due to their partnership with the shelter. They have covered preventative care including flea/tick/heartworm medications, vaccines, and annual visits. He is only 3 years old but recently had a urinary block, and having insurance made the emergency life-or-death decision making about his health rather than the limits on what I could afford. He will need a prescription diet going forward, and with my plan it should be covered. I could not be more grateful to have this insurance! The best plan I could have found. Excellent coverage and peace of mind--well worth the monthly investment.
