MetLife | Pet Insurance Review

We absolutely love MetLife Pet Insurance! I believe the premium is competitive with comparable policies with other carriers. Their claims process is super easy and reimbursements are quick to be paid out! Making changes (adding/removing pets) to our policies has been a breeze. Their customer service is always great as well. I’ve only had to reach out a couple of times, but each CSR was always very friendly, personable, and very helpful. We always recommend MetLife Pet Insurance to friends and family who have pets!

I'm happy with everything except the huge increases in premium costs that started after my dog had 2 surgeries. Not sure if the increases relate to that or to her age, but the insurance is now very very expensive.

Submitting claims for my cat's care is easy. I am thankful I selected MetLife pet insurance, recommended by my local shelter when I adopted her as a kitten. She was a stray, and unknown to me or the shelter, was ill at adoption. Thanks to MetLife Pet, I was able to provide her the care she deserved without worry.
