MetLife | Pet Insurance Review

I’ve had MetLife Pet Insurance for nearly 10 years and have filed numerous claims for my ShihTzu. They have always paid my claims promptly and for the amount I expect. The claims process is quick and easy. I often recommend MetLife Pet Insurance to my friends and family.

I'm grateful I thought to get pet insurance with this cat. I wish I had it with my last cat. Although I didn't use it for the first 6 or so years, it has paid off the last 3-4 years with her allergy medication. I would never be able to afford it without the insurance and she may not be alive if I didn't. My cat is my child since I have no human children and she is my whole life!

I have had Petfirst/metlife pet Insurance for many years. The customer service is phenomenal. Anytime you call in and have a question, the person answering the phone is helpful and respectful, and will answer all of your questions. They have had a couple of fairly substantial rate increases over the last few years, but I have checked out other pet insurance companies that are cheaper and they don’t have the same coverage and probably don’t have the same customer service. I highly recommend this company.

I have continuously found MetLife Pet to be very fair and ethical about what is covered. The premiums are reasonable and well worth it! They are efficient at responding and offer multiple ways to submit claims. I will look forward to using them for future pets.

I've been using this insurance since before MetLife acquired then. Customer service is great, the price is good, plans are flexible, claims are so easy to submit! I love it!
