Service is great - time to process a claim takes way too long

Quick turn around time on claims and coverage is as described, no loop holes!

Having Metlife insurance has been great. My dog Mo is very healthy, but things come up every now and then. It' very easy and seamless to send in a claim, call if I need more information, and reimbursements are quick. I feel Mo AND my finances are protected. Currently Mo is going through some tests to determine why he has inflammation in some organs. He is ok, acting like his normal self, but it's still scary. I called in to ask for clarification on some documents being requested and the customer service rep caught was so nice. After getting my name and why I was calling, she genuinely asked: "Ok, but first, how is Mo?". Not once in my entire life of calling in to insurance companies has someone asked me this. About me, my daughter, or Mo. Totally caught me off guard, I swear I teared up a little. That lady deserves 12/5 stars and a hug ⭐

The process is clear, easy, simple. The result was quick.

I’ve been really impressed with MetLife Pet Insurance. They’ve always been very prompt with claims. I have a $500 deductible, unlimited limit, 80% reimbursement policy. The only issue I had is they denied a claim for medication due to allergies saying it was a preexisting condition. Well, I appealed and won because I have an exclusion in my policy if I had a previous plan with another pet insurance company where the preexisting condition was covered. Otherwise I would have given this review 5 stars. Everything else about this company is great. Easy to use website and app! Friendly and helpful customer service agents.
