Great insurance
It is super easy to submit claims in the app and I have never had any problems with reimbursements. The best is that they cover holistic treatments. For those that use holistic vets, this is really a big deal.

Great service, poor communication
While I have received excellent service from MetLife Pet Insurance.
The communication when additional information is needed is lacking.
I have been told several times that they reached out to my vet for records. I work at the same vet and read the emails daily, we have never received a request from MetLife for records.

I’ve had great experiences with MetLife
I’ve had great experiences with MetLife. I’ve had it for 1.5 years and have had no problems! I elected to have wellness and sickness and they reimburse for heartworm and flea meds! It goes straight into my checking account. I feel like it is less expensive than the other pet insurers.
