Lemonade | Pet Insurance Review

I am a first time pet owner, worried about how I would pay for my pet’s expenses. I am also a new homeowner so I needed to find an insurance company that I aligned with. What I love about Lemonade is that they are super helpful and responsive to my questions, they also donate a portion of our payments to a charity of our choice. Their customer service representatives are extremely helpful and super nice. I also love that every time I have a question, they email me. I get anxiety from phone calls a lot so the fact that they can get all of my questions answered just by email has been super beneficial to me and less stress free on my part.

Super easy to sign up and file a claim

Lemonade truly cares about their client’s pets! They make all the claims easy to do & are very reasonably priced for pet lovers! All their customer service reps are the sweetest & handle claims extremely fast! 10/10 recommend

My dog got horribly sick out of the blue, and needed to spend a full day at the vet getting tests, receiving fluids, and then came home with a number of prescriptions and a massive bill. I put in a claim to Lemonade as got an email from a human being within 24 hours who I could send questions to if I had any, and was reimbursed in less than 3 days. This is what an insurance company should be - you pay them your premium, and when it comes to it, they help you. They don't make it hard, they don't make you wait, they don't try to get out of it, they just help you protect your pet. I recommend Lemonade to anyone and everyone.

I'm very happy with my Lemonade pet insurance so far! The prices are very reasonable and much lower than other competitors. I had a different pet insurance prior to this one and the price increases each year were outrageous, so I switched to Lemonade instead. My dog just went in for her annual wellness visit and submitted my claim, and Lemonade reimbursed me in just a couple days! My only complaint is that the claim process was a bit difficult for me, as they want you to choose which covered services were performed from a drop down menu, and some things on my invoice were listed under a different name so they didn't quite match. I had to google some of them to find out what they were exactly so I could select the right thing from the drop down menu. Otherwise the process is very quick and easy and I was reimbursed very fast! I've only had it for a few months now, so we'll see if my opinion changes next year when it renews. I have high hopes though. :)
