Easiest claim process
Being able to snap a picture of my invoice added to how simple it was to file a claim. My preventive claim was immediately approved and paid. I'm in awe.

Ease of filing a claim
I neutered my dog Frankie and that afternoon I filed a claim and was finished within minutes. All you need is a copy of your receipt from the vet.

So far, so good!
I signed up with Lemonade for my 3 month old Puppy. I chose the basic accident/illness coverage, plus the wellness package for Puppies. There was a mix up with her name at first, which customer service resolved promptly and easily. I've filed one claim thus far, and that was quick and easy, too. The app is easy to navigate (I'm not super tech savvy), and the coverages are explained in easy-to-understand, straightforward language. My experience with Lemonade has been great thus far!

Lemonade Pet Insurance
Lemonade pet insurance is great! The app makes filing claims super easy. The agents are very responsive on their emails. Payments range from instant to up to 1 week depending on the claim. Highly recommend Lemonade!

Easy and fast service!
I highly recommend Lemonade! The app is so easy to use for claims and any amount covered goes directly into your bank account. Very convenient.
Monthly Cost
Policies start at $10/Month
Coverage
Accident and Illness coverage, with optional wellness package at reimbursement levels of 70%,
80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Payout Limits
Lemonade Pet Insurance benefits cap off between $5,000 and $100,000, depending on how users set up their policy.
Deductible
$100, $250 or $500 annually.
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll. Lemonade does not terminate coverage
for pets as they age.
Waiting Period
All Lemonade pet policies have a series of waiting periods:
-2 days for accidents
-14 days for illnesses
-6 months for cruciate ligament events
There is no waiting period for preventative coverage.
Exclusions
Exclusions follow the market standard, so they don’t cover pre-existing conditions; bilateral conditions, dental illness, microchipping; anal gland expression; spaying and neutering; something that happens because of breeding or pregnancy; prescription food; vitamins; and supplements; experimental treatments, or recurring conditions. They will be expanding some of these coverages soon.
