Best pet insurance out there

It's my first time having a pet with my husband so we are treating her like our baby since we don't have kids. Knowing that we have an insurance for her gives us a peace of mind. We did our research and the one that conviene us was Lemonade. So far it's been a great experience, very fast and easy to use with the App. They communicate very well via email. So no complaints here. We are looking forward to add a future pet to this insurance.

Awesome company and product!

This product is very easy to use and is very convenient. I don’t have to pull paperwork and mail it in - it’s all online. Pricing is fair and the online interactions are well done.

Easy and affordable!

I have had pet insurance through lemonade for almost a year. It has been a great experience of thus far. I have had multiple claims and each of them have been super easy. Customer service is wonderful it's also easy to get in contact with someone if you have questions and once your claim is approved your money automatically gets wired to your account within a few days. I highly recommend this pet insurance as it is one of the most affordable in the markets (I researched A LOT!) with excellent coverage!

Monthly Cost

Policies start at $10/Month

Coverage

Accident and Illness coverage, with optional wellness package at reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.

Payout Limits

Lemonade Pet Insurance benefits cap off between $5,000 and $100,000, depending on how users set up their policy.

Deductible

$100, $250 or $500 annually.

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll. Lemonade does not terminate coverage for pets as they age.

Waiting Period

All Lemonade pet policies have a series of waiting periods: -2 days for accidents -14 days for illnesses -6 months for cruciate ligament events There is no waiting period for preventative coverage.

Exclusions

Exclusions follow the market standard, so they don’t cover pre-existing conditions; bilateral conditions, dental illness, microchipping; anal gland expression; spaying and neutering; something that happens because of breeding or pregnancy; prescription food; vitamins; and supplements; experimental treatments, or recurring conditions. They will be expanding some of these coverages soon.
