A new breed of insurance
All companies say they care but it’s not until you use Lemonade that you really see the difference. Lemonade is fast and simple to use. Lemonade takes the stress out of submitting a claim at a time when all you really care about is your pet. Once submitted you get to work with a person, with an actual name and a sense of humour just when you need it! Lemonade cares about what your pet means to you and goes the extra distance to keep you connected. Great company.

Lemonade is the best for my dogs!
Lemonade is a great platform to use to know that my 2 dogs (terrier mix and pomsky) are protected. I had Nationwide in the past, but Lemonade takes the cake. Lemonade has great rates, easy to file claims/payment of reimbursements, and most importantly the customer service is warm and transparent. I have also used Lemonade's chat feature where their experts guided me through policy coverage and dog health concerns.

Super Quick and Easy to Use
I've used Lemonade for my previous claims and it couldn't be simpler. They actually caught some things after my first submission that i didn't put in and were able to quickly adjust and help me save more money on my claim. Nothing but positives in my first two months of Lemonade.

The claim was approved the day I submitted and the reimbursement was in my account the day after that. Very Impressive.
It was easy to submit Sassy's claim on the Lemonade App and it was paid the next day. Customer Service called me to make sure I knew it was approved and to let me know the money had been deposited into my account. I was very pleased with how smoothly & easy it was to submit a claim.
Monthly Cost
Policies start at $10/Month
Coverage
Accident and Illness coverage, with optional wellness package at reimbursement levels of 70%,
80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Payout Limits
Lemonade Pet Insurance benefits cap off between $5,000 and $100,000, depending on how users set up their policy.
Deductible
$100, $250 or $500 annually.
Age Limits
Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll. Lemonade does not terminate coverage
for pets as they age.
Waiting Period
All Lemonade pet policies have a series of waiting periods:
-2 days for accidents
-14 days for illnesses
-6 months for cruciate ligament events
There is no waiting period for preventative coverage.
Exclusions
Exclusions follow the market standard, so they don’t cover pre-existing conditions; bilateral conditions, dental illness, microchipping; anal gland expression; spaying and neutering; something that happens because of breeding or pregnancy; prescription food; vitamins; and supplements; experimental treatments, or recurring conditions. They will be expanding some of these coverages soon.
