Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I have had Healthy Paws for 11 years now. The 4th year I had it my 4 year old Yorkie’s trachea collapsed. We rushed her to the hospital where they put a stent in which cost over $5,000 and healthy paws covered 70% less the veterinarian’s cost. That was 7 years ago. She needs x-rays and check-ups every 6 months. Has had numerous infections and tracheal washes plus medications that tops over $200 a month. If not for healthy paws we would not be able to afford her care. There was only one time where it took 30 days to process a claim but other than that claims are usually processed within a week or at the most 2. I have recommended Healthy Paws to many of my friends as I am that pleased with them. They make the decision to care for my dogs easy without the worry of medical bills.

We have Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for our dog. She has had numerous health issues, including surgery, and each time, Healthy Paws paid 80% of the costs after deductibles. It has made care decisions much easier, and our dear pet has fully recovered and is able to fully enjoy life after illness! The app is so easy to use. You just submit photos of your invoices, and you get reimbursements in very little time. Our premiums have gone up over time, so don't assume that what you pay at the start will be the cost later on. Nevertheless, we highly recommend this company!

What a total rip off! My dog’s health insurance jumped from $189/mo to $479/mo because a new insurance company took over. Something about how the California government won’t let them cap monthly premiums. So ridiculous. The reason you can’t find my account is because I cancelled it yesterday after 10 years with you all. You all are the absolute worst.
