Extremely Happy

I would like to say that I really appreciate everyone at Healthy Paws! Everyone I've spoken with has been extremely nice and helpful. Even when I was having trouble with a vet not sending me blood results for my pup, the staff at Healthy Paws jumped right in and called the vet. I wish other companies had the same amazing customer service/care that Healthy Paws employees have!

A plus for service and ease of use.

We're so happy that we decided to get pet insurance with Healthy Paws. Our 3-year-old dog required major orthopedic surgery. Having pet insurance made a difficult decision easier. Healthy Paws is so user friendly - with the app all you need to do is take a picture of your paid bill. You quickly get confirmation (both via email and within the app) that it has been received and is being processed. Less than a week later we had received a check in the mail, reimbursing us the 80% that our policy covers. Thank you Healthy Paws! You have a customer for life!

Peace of Mind

It’s emotionally disturbing enough if/when my dog gets sick, has an emergency or need follow up vaccinations but knowing that I have Healthy Paws Insurance makes it so much calming that my claim will be settled in one day.

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
