Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Healthy Paws Insurance is great. It’s a simple process to file a claim and reimbursement is quick. I should also mention that the monthly fees are quite reasonable. I recently had an emergency with my 10 month old Westie and received my payment within 2-3 days. I’m not sure how I would have paid for it without them. The customer service department reached out to check on Annie after the hospitalization. It was such a kind gesture that was not expected but was very much appreciated. I highly recommend Healthy Paws if you have a pet without a lot of pre existing conditions.

I placed my first claim on 7/22/24. I provided ALL the medical documentation I have for my dog. I called after two weeks of hearing nothing and they stated I needed to submit all the medical records when I did. Then, they stated they are missing 2022. I explained she didnt go and I pushed her vaccines back and they are landed in Jan 2023. The gentleman said it wasn’t a problem. Here we are two weeks later and my claim is still saying i need to provide all medical records. Outrageous. I will be calling them again in the morning and demanding a refund for the two months I have paid for with no action and I’ll be cancelling my plan

Straight-forward and simple insurance plan I can understand and depend on for my dog’s medical care. Affordable and they provide exactly the service they advertise in a plan. No ticks or hidden fees. Really appreciate their model and the peace of mind it gives me around my pet’s health.

If you are in the need of pet insurance, I highly recommend Healthy Paws. I’ve been insured with Healthy Paws for over a year and never filed a claim until last week when my 1 ½ year old chocolate lab Millie had a bowel obstruction that required surgery. I would have paid anything for Millie, and I am extraordinarily pleased to have Healthy Paws as my insurer and partner in Millie’s health. They made the claims process easy, communicated with me during the process and were honest and fair. Best of all Healthy Paws is part of the Chubb Company, American’s foremost insurance group. I’ll continue to pay my monthly premium to Healthy Paws and hope to never need them again, however if we do I know they are there for Millie. Finally, there are a host of pet insurance companies out there making lots of claims to be the best, but I can assure you, you can’t go wrong with Healthy Paws.

I have now insured two dogs with Healthy Paws and feel this is a fantastic company. When my previous dog got sick, Healthy Paws checked in on her and was fantastic about covering all her medical needs. And again with my newest dog, Healthy Paws has been covering his disc issues without any issues. They even cover chiropractic treatments and water therapy!! It is better than my human insurance!
