Beyond grateful

Our family is beyond grateful for the coverage that we have for our sweet kitten through Healthy Paws. The financial assistance, easy processing, and fast reimbursements that Healthy Paws provided throughout an extremely difficult time to ensure our sweet boy was able to get the care he needed is something we are forever thankful for. I had an unexpected heart issue for my pet that was stressful and led to expenses that I was not sure will be handled by HelathyPaws. The process to submiot claim took 2 minutes and was notified it was approved within 2 days. They even followed up by email to check on his health! Very satisfied with this experience.

Fantastic Insurance for My Dog!

I have had Healthy Paws Pet Insurance for my dog since he was 2-years old. He's now 15-1/2 and has had a variety of medical issues over the years. Healthy Paws has been amazing at paying claims quickly and without any hassles. The latest claim that I made was in July 2024 and it was paid within 24 hours! Their customer service is fantastic. I recommend it to all my friends and family for their dogs!

look for other options

If you have different options better get other insurance company. This company increase the cost more than 15% each year and that is absurd. It is probably you never used on your pets life but they dont care at all. Once you are there they know you can not change of company because all your pet have will be considered preexistence illness in any other company

Monthly Cost

$15 – $80, depending on breed, zip code, age of pet and choice of deductible and co-pay.

Coverage

One plan covers accidents, illnesses, cancer, emergency care, genetic conditions, alternative care and more. You can choose a co-pay of 10%, 20%, 30% or 40%. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

No per incident, annual or lifetime pay-out limit.

Deductible

You can choose an annual deductible of $250, $500 or $750* *Choice depends on age of the pet

Age Limits

Pets must be at least 8 weeks old and under 14 years old at time of enrollment. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Coverage begins 15 days after your policy starts. There is a 12-month waiting period for hip dysplasia claims.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered, however hip dysplasia is only covered in pets who enroll before they are 6 years old.
