Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I can't tell you how impressed I have been with all of my experiences with Healthy Paws. Our cat and dog have been insured by Healthy Paws for over 5 years. We recently experienced an emergency with our dog which required her to be admitted to the emergency vets for 3 days and 2 nights. The process of submitting a claim was seamless. It literally took only a few minutes to complete. Even more impressively, we received a reimbursement check within days of the submission. If that wasn't enough, Healthy Paws followed up to see how our dog was doing. This business gets high marks in every regard. Ease of use, consumer friendly, delivering exactly what is advertised and finally compassion during a stressful time. Thank you for being there when we most needed you. I have been recommending you to all of our friends who are pet parents and will continue to do so.

Healthy Paws has been great to work with throughout the cancer treatment for my 6.5 year old dog. They have made the claim filing process seamless and pay out within the couple days. Do yourself a favor and either put the money away each month or wait until your dog gets older to insure them I thought I was doing the right thing by insuring her when she was a puppy to avoid paying higher premiums when she got older. I first started out at $26.36 per month then it was increased each year to $31.42 to $37.29 to $40.32 to $42.34 and never had I claim throughout this whole time then I was notified it was being increased to $59.77 per month. They said it was due to all the other claims they have had to pay out of course not my claims. After the notification I did submit a claim as my dog had had inflammation in her gums and bleeding and because my vet marked it as a dental cleaning they denied the claim. Now why would I have another dental cleaning in February since I already had one in October we all know how expensive they are. So far I paid out over $2000.00 to healthy paws and I wish I would of put that money away instead of paying it to them I’ve had enough I will be canceling my coverage what a waste.
