I cannot say enough about Healthy Paws prompt and compassionate response to a first claim made for our10 year old female labrador, who recently underwent surgery. The claim was straightforward to complete, and the reimbursement very fair. Our family will strongly recommend HealthyPaws to anyone researching quality pet insurance. I am very happy with Healthy Paws and their customer service. They respond to all claims quickly and clearly explain what is eligible and what is not. In addition, they seem to genuinely care about your pet. While you never want to need to use your insurance, my shiba did end up needing major surgery. Healthy Paws provided excellent service.

My cat Jada age 14 was diagnoised with Pancreatis. Before this Jada has been very healthy and dosen't look or act like a 14 yr. old. Then I noticed some weight loss from not eating which is not like her at all(she loves her food and her brother's as well). There were a couple of bouts with vomiting and diarrhea too. The vet did a complete work-up and ultrasound which verified his findings. I submitted all records and claims and the next day heard back from Healthy Paws letting me know that they received everything and would be handling this right away. And that is just what they did!! Prompt attention to Jada's case and I even received another email just to ask how she was doing!!!!! I don't get that treatment from my own doctor :( I am so impressed with Healthy Paws that I have made it my business to tell other animal owners of my experience.The processing was easy and within 1 week of them receiving my claim and associated paperwork it was completed and emailed to me the findings and how much I would be refunded. WOW!!!! Every one I spoke with over the phone was polite, helpful and caring. Thank you so much.

Having been a pet owner my whole life, I know the unexpected happens and when it does it is expensive! So when we got our little Havanese puppy, Riley, I checked into pet insurance. After researching thoroughly all the big companies I stumbled upon Healthy Paws and I'm so glad I did! So many companies have various limits and exclusions so their policy is hard to fully grasp. I loved that Healthy Paws policy was up front, low premiums with no incident or lifetime limits. In two weeks time my now 10 month old puppy had to be seen 5 times for two different events. All of the claims went smoothly, reimbursement has been fast, and all the representatives have been extremely helpful. It is such a relief to know that I can now afford to give my baby the quality care that he deserves without worrying about the bottom line.

This company is not only extremely efficient at getting claims processed and mailing the reimbursement checks quickly but they have an outstanding customer service team. They wrote a personalized email checking on my dog and asked me to give him a hug for them. I was extremely impressed by this as most large companies send automated impersonal emails. My dog had major surgery within 3 months of having the policy and I was so nervous that there would be red tape to go through to get the reimbursement check. Much to my relief I had an email within an hour saying the claim was processed and the check was on the way.
