Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I am so relieved I have Healthy Paws after our 2 yr. old Husky Mix, Kota, spent some time at the vet, along with the ER vet. She had to go in twice for fluids and couldn't keep anything in her. She had blood tests done and x-rays done to test for blockage. When your dog is so sick, you do anything for them!It took a little longer getting all the info I needed from my own vet and the ER vet, but once all the documents were in order, Healthy Paws was quick to take care of things. They communicated very well and I always got a friendly, caring voice on the other end of the phone line. I am very happy I went with Healthy Paws!

Honestly, this is an amazing company. I was so worried about submitting an expensive claim. But, they covered everything just like they said they would. Not only did they cover the costs, but I received personalized messages from them asking how my dog was. They truly care about your pet.

We have been very happy with the claims process for our visits to the vet due to allergies in our French Bulldog. Shortly after we met our deductible we had an issue with her stomach (she ate her blanket) and needed surgery. Our claim was processed the same day and a check for 90% arrived 3 days later. We are so grateful to have such wonderful pet insurance and appreciate all of the customer support we received!

I've been with Healthy Paws for over two years now and my life was changed to complete peace of mind because THIS is what pet insurance should be! I have tried the competitors and their limitations, reimbursement schedules, and claims processing often made me wonder why I had bothered to get the insurance. I sure wish my insurance companies were as good. The first claim I had an email from healthy paws waiting for me when I got home. Next my 2 year old male cat somehow broke his hip. When surgery was done a second break was found. So I had a substantial bill. I submitted this bill and another and I received payment on both within the week. With the company helping homeless pets, the emails the company sends for pets birthdays and inquiring how the patient is, and friendly people on the phone I couldn't have picked a better company and I highly recommend them.
