Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I was reluctant to purchase pet insurance for my dog, but after my recent experience, I'm happy that I went with healthy paws. My goldendoodle had ingested something toxic and had to stay overnight in a pet hospital. Healthy paws reimbursed me within 10 days of the claim. They also emailed me (a personal email) to see how he was doing afterwards. That added personal attention made me feel like they really cared about my dog. I strongly suggest Healthy Paws.

Our 3 year old German Shepherd was recently diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia and osteoarthritis. I have submitted many claims and they respond with an hour via email telling me the claim is in process. Shortly thereafter I get an email saying the claim is complete and itemizing the payment...The check is mailed shortly after that. I have had to make several calls to them as well just the reassure myself that certain items would be covered (hydroptherapy, acupuncture, etc). Their customer service reps are so helpful and responsive. I am absolutely thrilled with this pet insurance . I never dreamed we would need it for such a devastating diagnosis at such a young age. Having the insurance has been such a help through the whole process. I highly recommend them...and am so grateful to have the insurance. Our GSD is the best dog ever and it is so good to know we can help him get better.

Sometimes you want to save your pet, but you just don't have the money. With that said, I was so happy I had insurance when Socks got sick. The process was easy and the reimbursement fast. I looked at many companies, am glad I choose Healthy Paws. And Socks is doing real well.Thank you so much. I have told my friends to get this insurance. It is worth it.

Like many other pet parents, I spent time comparing insurance plans and for my Goldendoodle puppy last year. Alfred has fortunately been very healthy, but a month ago was diagnosed with an eyelid condition that would lead to scarring on his cornea if not surgically corrected. I was worried that some "small print" in our policy would prevent this $1000 surgery from being covered. I contacted Healthy Paws and was immediately assured that the procedure would be covered as written in the policy. I received my reimbursement for the procedure in less than a week after I filed the claim. And I even got an email from a claims representative to check and see how Alfred was doing after the surgery. Healthy Paws is the BEST. I will recommend it to every pet parent I know.
