Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

Our shiba broke off a chunk of his toy bone and swallowed it. He was vomiting and had bad diarrhea all night. We didn't realize he ate it until he left us a poopy surprise later. We brought him to the emergency vet because we weren't sure what else he had eaten and he had become severely dehydrated, lethargic and sick. The vet ordered bloodwork, X-rays and meds. Being our first claim, we were unsure how everything would be handled by HealthyPaws. We shouldn't have been worried at all!! The claim form was very easy and straightforward. HealthyPaws approved our claim the very next day and the claim check came in a few days! They even checked up on him to see how he was doing. We're so glad we chose HealthyPaws.

Have had to make 2 claims with Healthy Paws so far and both were taken care of quickly and paid promptly. Also love the way they send a e-mail asking how my Golden Retriever Lenny is feeling. I first learned about Healthy Paws from my Vet. I am so glad I listened to her. I love these guys. They are always eager to help. Whenever I submit a claim, in a matter of 24 hours I get an email letting me know they received the paperwork and are working on the refund. I have never gone more than 10 days without receiving a refund check from them. Everyone who works there have been nothing but professional and helpful to me. They are always concerned about my dog and how he is doing. I love them....

Our 4 year old girl needed a series of tests to address implications of crystals in the urine. We are happy to say that she came through with flying colorsafter being very worried, and Healthy Paws processed the claim (initial claim made in the two plus years we have had our shih tzu and have had insurance) quickly and positively. Since the first claim requires all medical records to be submitted, we were so impressed with their service and their follow-up- they emailed to see how our girl was feeling after all of the tests! We can't say enough god things about Healthy Paws- they are first class in customer service!
