Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I can't recommend Healthy Paws enough for what they have done for our family. My wife and I were out of the country when our dog was hit by a car. When they got her to the hospital and told us everything they would need to do we panicked. I called Healthy Paws and they calmed us down and made sure that everything was handled immediately. They stepped up and dealt with the hospital so that we could get on a plane home to be able to deal directly. If not for their compassion and helpfulness our dog would have had no chance. She still has a long road but Healthy Paws has been by our side every step of the way. Their process is seamless and they have bent over backwards to make sure things go smoothly. They are a blessing.

Couldn't give Healthy Paws enough praise! After my Boston developed a mammary tumor that needed removed, Healthy Paws made the entire claim process and turn around time very quick and easy. Their site and document upload process is easy and user friendly and their staff followed up with me after the surgery to just to see how everything was going. Would definitely recommend them to any pet parent!

In the past I've had other insurance plans for my dogs and I eventually stopped because they never covered anything I needed. It was money down the drain. But I read the reviews on Healthy Paws and decided to give it a try with my new pup. I'm so glad I did!! No bureaucracy. The easiest claim process: I take a photo of my invoice with my smart phone, send it to them, and a few days later I get my reimbursement for the covered services. They truly cover everything their promos advertise. The per-year deductible (instead of per-occurrence) makes it faster to reach the deductible limit and start saving. Plus the customer service staff is super warm and friendly. Highly recommend them!

I am super impressed with Healthy Paws! They have wonderful customer service. Anytime I've emailed them with a question they've gotten back to me the same day. Recently my dog had surgery to remove a mass and my claim was handled in about two weeks. You can pick the amount they reimburse, so after my deductible they covered 90% of the costs, excluding exam fees. I was hesitant to get insurance in the first place because I was afraid if something like this happened they would find some loop hole to get out of paying but they covered everything exactly as was stated in the policy. You can have them review your pet's medical records before getting a policy and they will let you know if there are any pre existing conditions that may not be covered. I would definitely recommend Healthy Paws!

No one likes to deal with insurance companies. Especially picking one. Healthy Paws Pet Insurance is the most convenient, prompt, reliable, helpful, and all around best pet insurance on the market. Deciding to get pet insurance for our puppy was one of those "hopefully we'll never need it, but better to have and not need, than need and not have!" ...shockingly, at 8 months old, our puppy needed extensive testing to determine the cause for her significant digestive issues. Over $2500 out of pocket. Without Healthy Paws, we'd be in debt and unbelievably stressed. Submitting a claim was literally the easiest thing I've ever done -- easier than submitting my papers online for school! I even received a personal email checking up on our puppy, which was absolutely above and beyond.
