Healthy Paws is the best!! The claim process is so easy, takes 2 minutes to lodge your claim online. Check received within a week. My dog recently had a serious accident and Healthy Paws have been so understanding and caring through the whole process. They made the claim process so smooth and easy that it left me the time to concentrate on my dog and not my finances. Also, unlike many other insurance companies, they cover hereditary conditions. My dog was diagnosed with osteosarcoma and has to have his leg removed and chemotherapy. Healthy Paws has been there every set of the way approving our claims in a very timely manner. Their customer service is stellar they are there every time I need help. They have paid his claims with no hassle at all. I love healthy paws!

We signed up for Health Paws Insurance coverage when we first got our puppy not thinking we would need the coverage until he was much older. As it turned out, our poor Border collie started limping and was subsequently diagnosed with Bi-Lateral OCD in both shoulders requiring surgery to correct the problem. Health Paws has been wonderful in every respect! The claims were very simple to file, the processing time was very short and the payment prompt. The agents we talked with were all very friendly, empathetic and helpful. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Healthy Paws Insurance to anybody that is looking for pet insurance.

We had Healthy Paws for a couple of years before our first claim, which was for major abdominal surgery for our sweet female greyhound. The customer service team was great about working with us, our local small-town vet, and the university hospital to which we were referred for surgery. We had one small hiccup where an initial blood screen was not covered because the billing code at my vet ("wellness screen") made it look like a preventative screening. Healthy Paws customer service was very understanding when I called to tell them it was done in response to symptoms of the dog's illness. After a quick fax from my vet clarifying the purpose of the blood work, they re-processed my claim and it came back covered. We had no surprises as far as coverage - everything was exactly as the Healthy Paws website states and our reimbursement matched up with the plan we pay for. The customer service team reached out to me several times after my initial call to follow up and check in - they even checked in to see how our dog was doing after all the claims had processed. The whole experience made us so grateful to have pet insurance - we'll definitely maintain it for our greyhound and any future dogs we own. Based on this experience, we'll be sticking with Healthy Paws.

Healthy Paws pays promptly and without a fuss; sometimes a claim is submitted by email and approved the same day. They generally don't require an explanation of services from the vet, just a bill and a brief description of the condition from the pet owner. And most importantly, there are no defined limits as to payment. They pay 90% of the amount submitted after the deductible, less the office visit--nice and simple. About as good as you can get from pet insurance.
