Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I insured my pug through Healthy Paws back when she was 4 months old. She just turned two. We've filed a few minor claims and always been reimbursed pretty quickly. Last week I had to take her to a dentist for two broken teeth. I wasn't expecting her to need surgery that day or for it to cost $1700.00!! I filed our claim with the hopes that at least part of it would fall under our 90% plan. All of it other than the exam fee was covered and we received an emailing saying that a check for $1450.00 would be mailed out within 10 days. I was thrilled and relieved that her healthcare costs didn't have to be something to worry about while she recovered. We could just concentrate on our baby!

Healthy Paws handles claims fairly and quickly, covering your pet's illnesses and injuries as they promise to with no hidden exceptions. I submitted my first claim recently and was amazed to find that they processed it quickly and did not try to find ways of denying it. If only my own health insurance plan worked so well! And to top it off, when one corresponds with the company, their emails are written by actual people who wish your pet well. I've been very pleased with them!
