Great Service Again and Again

My French Bulldog, Macaroni has had quite a few issues over the last few years. Last year, he ate some indigestible objects that had to be removed and Healthy Paws processed the claims quickly and even followed up on how he was doing. Most recently, he had a few tumors removed and again, I couldn't be happier. They processed my claims within 48 hours and followed up with concern for him. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Well worth the expense

My dog Marley was bitten at a public park on a Sunday morning by a dog, whose owner was apologetic but claimed he could not afford the expense of seeking treatment at an emergency clinic. Because I have a pet insurance policy with Healthy Paws, I was able to take Marley for immediate care-- which ultimately cost over $3000. Healthy Paws' policy fortunately covered most of the expense and I am terribly grateful that they did not search for ways to deny or reduce the vet clinic's line item charges in the way that many other companies do. In the past I had a very aggravating experience with ASPCA Pet Insurance over their definition of "reasonable" amounts, which were generally well below what vets actually charge. By contrast, I believe pet-owners can rest assured that Healthy Paws will deal with them honestly, quickly, and fairly if/when it may become necessary to submit a claim.

healthy Paws saved my dog!

My dog Bailey had a problem with a disc in her back. She was losing control of her back legs. The charge I was quoted by the hospital was staggering! I am so glad that I chose Healthy Paws pet insurance. Without the insurance, it would have taken a toll on my finances since I am retired and have a fixed income. When I bought Bailey 6 years ago, the first thing I did was research pet insurance and everything I read pointed to Healthy Paws as the number one choice. Thank you Healthy Paws.

Glad I chose Healthy Paws

15 months after starting my first policy with HP I had around a $3700 claim for an obstructed bowl. My dog was seen at two different vets and therefore there were two different invoices. Having an annual deductible meant once I had paid the deductible for the first invoice I no longer owed any deductible on the next one nor will I have to pay a deductible for the rest of the policy year. In total with my 10% co-insurance I received about $3100 for my claim and I received both checks in less then two weeks of filing. Even with the monthly premium I was spared nearly $2,000 in out of pocket expenses for these vet bills. Healthy Paws has not only been extremely quick and painless through the process they have shown a genuine interest in the well being of my injured pet. I have all of my pets now protected through Healthy Paws and recommend any pet owner to do the same.
