Great people, great insurance

My rescue mutt suffers from severe hip dysplasia and a rare autoimmune disorder called lupoid onychodystrophy. One of his hips was so bad that our specialist sent us to a surgeon several hours away to have a new hip implanted. The surgery and implant cost upwards of $6000, not to mention all the vet work Buddy had in preparation. In short, that surgery transformed his life. I could never have made it happen without Healthy Paws. They continue to cover the acupuncture he receives (that, by the way, along with fish oil and vitamin e therapy) keeps his arthritis and autoimmune disorder under control. Their service is fast and friendly, and I feel good knowing that they are also committed to helping animals in need.

Flawless

I only wish human health insurance was this efficient and effective. Everything was covered exactly as I understood when I signed up. Claims were filed by sending pictures through the app. Payment was sent to me in a timely manner. Flawless.

The best choice for your furry family member.

When one of our dogs had a $5k vet bill we decided from then on all of our dogs would have insurance. Then came the choice of which out of all of them to use. For us it came down to the same things we looked at for our health insurance.1) Coverage, what do they cover? Any vet or just certain vets? 2) Deductibles, what are they and is it for each event or for the year? 3) Cap, is there a cap in coverage? 4) Customer service, how well do they respond and keep you informed. As well as how easy is it to file a claim? 5) Costs, what are the costs and how fast do they reimburse you? The answer for us was Healthy Paws. My dogs as well as my daughters are covered by them. On one of my dogs who came down with cancer they covered 90% of the over $20K it took to give her awhile longer with us as well as keep her quality of life up. On my current 4 year old they are covering 90% of the almost $8K it takes to correct her two torn ACLs. This allows us to make the best medical decisions for our four legged family members without thinking about how we are going to pay for it. It gives us that peace of mind in case something does arise. IT is worth every penny. The claims are an easy click and they have you your check within a week. Add in their personal touches of following up to see how your dog is doing and their donations to rescues and the choice was easy.

Greatful!

When I adopted 2 kittens, I made sure I would have health insurance for my kittens while they are young. I am glad I did. One of my cat had an UTI and reoccured in a few month. Our vet recommended PU surgery which costs $1800. In a few days I sent the invoices to Healthy Paws, they already took care of my claim and reimbursed me within a week. I would recommend to anyone!
