Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I highly recommend Healthy Paws Insurance! I did a lot of research on pet insurance before signing up with Healthy Paws and found by far they offered the best plan options and the best price. Recently my beautiful cat Nina was diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism and required extensive lab work and radioactive iodine treatment at a specialist. Within days of the claims being submitted I received an email from the Healthy Paws team checking in on Nina’s health and recovery, and informing me her claims were in process for payment. I had a payment check in my mailbox just a few days later! I was so pleased with the personalized and prompt service from Healthy Paws! It gives me so much peace of mind to know I can count on Healthy Paws to cover my cats health needs should she become sick or injured.

My baby Shar-Pei (Gordis) had surgery 2 weeks ago. They found a tumor in his intestine that did not allow him to eat...very sad. It was NOT a cheap surgery, and we were afraid that all the histories that we always hear about shitty insurance cutting you off when you actually need them, was going to happen to us...fortunately I am here to say a TOTAL DIFFERENT STORY...i submitted our 3 invoices (for almost 7000$) and Healthy Paws completed and approved the reimburse for 80% of that amount (as they promised when I joined them) in withing 2-3 days...and i got my checks literally 3-4 after...all I can say is THANK YOU FOR BEING SO AMAZING. Not only that but they also sent me an email asking me how Gordis was recovering from his surgery...that touched my heart. I will referrer them to all my friends. Like I said...all i can say are good things about them so far...I only can hope they continue being so wonderful.

My dog had two surgeries in less than four months, Healthy Paws approved the claim for the last surgery in less than five hours of receiving my claim. I have received a check for $5,152. for one surgery and have been approved for $4,666. I am very happy with Healthy Paws they have great customer service!Linda

Having had other pet insurance (VPI) it is night and day the difference between them. Healthy is SO EASY, so quick, and really pays for what they say they pay for. All different than my previous experiences. My dog recently had a major issue and I didn't hesitate to tell the doc to take the most conservative measures, which included hospitalization for three nights because I did not have to account for the financial aspect. A $2200 event cost me under $300. Can't say enough good things! And anytime I've called customer service I also had a great experience. I promise I'm not a paid reviewer -- I almost never review things -- but totally recommend Healthy Paws.
