Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I have had Healthy Paws covering my two shiba inus for the past six years and have never had an issue with them covering a claim. Submitting a claim is straightforward and it is usually processed within a week. Recently my dog Jotly had to have a root canal done on a back "anchor" tooth. All I had to submit was the invoice and the vet sent them the examination notes directly. The claim was settled the day they received all the information. I am so happy I chose Healthy Paws to help me care for my pets. The people who contact me genuinely seem to care about the wellbeing of my two dogs.

Penny is my first dog ever, and I knew I wanted to purchase insurance but I was very confused about which to choose. After investigating my various options, I ended up picking Healthy Paws and I am SO THANKFUL that I did! Penny has been through a lot in the last few years (emergency gastrointestinal surgery, an extensive investigation into neurological issues that turned out to be liver disease, recent removal of a tumor in her mouth...) and I cannot say enough about how fantastic Healthy Paws has been every step of the way. From incredibly caring, kind, and responsive customer service representatives to a simple, clear, and straightforward claims submission/reimbursement process, I've never been less than 110% satisfied. I submit all of my claims online and the turnaround is always quick, and I am reimbursed for every cent that I had expected and hoped for - no surprises because I didn't read almost illegible fine print somewhere. They're truly outstanding - I got everything I could've hoped for and so much more with this insurance company. You never know what unfortunate circumstances you might encounter down the line when you first become a pet parent, and Healthy Paws gives me the ability to never have to make a decision on my little one's health based on finances alone. I investigated 4 companies before deciding which insurance to use. I have two dogs and insure both through Healthy Paws because of a combination of an affordable premium, coverage, and good reviews. One of my dogs seems to always be visiting the vet for one reason or another. The Healthy Paws app for submitting claims is incredibly easy and they review the claims very quickly. Most recently, they approved coverage for x-rays, CT scans, and double elbow surgery on my 1-year old which ensures that she will not have premature arthritis issues. We are very happy to have signed-up with Healthy Paws.

I really don't know where me or my spouse would be, or what we'd do, if not for Healthy Paws. We adopted our zoe in April 2016 at 12 weeks old...over the course of her 1st 10 months with us, she has been diagnosed with several health issues & have also had a few emergencies which had we NOT of had Healthy Paws, i'm not sure what the fate of our Zoe would have been. We have never been denied a claim & it has eased so much stress knowing that she will be well cared for...especially knowing that some of her conditions have potential to be life long. I would recommend Healthy Paws to anyone seeking a good company to cover their pet! We really don't know how to thank them enough! They even send 'checking up' emails when something major happens...& the customer service is top notch!
