Healthy Paws | Pet Insurance Review

I absolutely love Healthy Paws Pet Insurance! Our two year old chihuahua Layla was attacked and bit by another dog recently. She suffered deep puncture wounds on her back leg, and my husband and I were devastated and very worried. She needed emergency surgery, a hospital stay for two nights, lab tests, and several vet appointments. The vet bills really added up quickly, but knowing we had insurance for her really put us at ease about the bills and allowed us to focus on her recovery. I submitted the bills easily online with Healthy Paws, and they approved the claims very quickly, and without any questions. Healthy Paws paid over $1,600 of Layla's vet bills (90% of covered charges, minus the deductible). She recovered surprisingly quickly and is back to her old self. Thank you Healthy Paws!!!

Healthy Paws has been an absolute lifesaver, and I mean that quite literally. Our 5-year old frenchie has turned out to be a repeat offender when it comes to eating things that he shouldn't. After three major surgeries to remove foreign objects from his stomach/intestine, Healthy Paws has stood by their commitment and reimbursed us as agreed. I can' tell you what a relief it is to listen to a vet run down the list of procedures and expenses that will be required and not have to worry about having to make what would be the hardest decision of our lives.
