I can't say enough about how Healthy Paws Pet Insurance has provided the fast, excellent service they promise. My claims, submitted online or otherwise, are resolved right away, and I get the reassuring explanations of benefits by email within a few days, followed by prompt payment. I have received emails from a real person, inquiring about my cat, and how she is doing! They have a foundation that gives back to the rescue and professional education communities. I can't think of a better team partner to ensure my pet will get what she needs to live happily ever after. This is so different from my prior experience with a much older pet insurance company. I highly recommend Healthy Paws!

I can’t say enough good things about our Healthy Paws experience! Unfortunately our young shepherd didn’t make it through a fast moving bout with encephalitis, as we racked up over $4000 of vet bills over a period of 3 days. Healthy Paws honored everything their plan says it covers and they did it in a very expedient manner. Each claim we submitted, they processed within 24 hours and we received our checks within a week. Also, when they noticed on one of our claims that our pet had to be euthanized, they automatically closed his policy and sent a personalized condolences note along with well wishes for our other dog. In reading some of the negative reviews given to Healthy Paws, several sound like they were misunderstandings of the terms. This is not a preventative maintenance/wellness plan. It is an insurance plan designed to cover unexpected situations that arise with your pets. Healthy Paws covered our prescriptions, diagnostic test and any other treatment associated with the care of our pet during these difficult times. They do not cover exams but that is clearly stated in the contract. I recommend Healthy Paws to anyone seeking quality pet insurance. Sign up early while your pet is young and healthy. You will have the peace of mind knowing that you can allow your vet to run the gamut of tests necessary to diagnose your pet properly while being protected financially from any unexpected issues that arise with your pet in the future. Healthy Paws covers 90% of these issues after a small deductible.

So far I am very pleased. First off, *this site, petinsurancereview.com, is amazing! Based on information here, I decided to insure my 2 dogs with HealthyPaws. Shortly after submitting my application I noticed an email I'd received from them a couple of days ago offering on-going discounts and waiving their application fee of $25. I wrote to them and explained that I'd just seen the email and asked if these benefits could be applied to my new account. I heard back from them in a timely manner and they went above and beyond in their response to my request! They waived the $25 fee and lowered my monthly premium rate! I was very pleased with their quick reply and generosity!I look forward to working with HealthyPaws Pet Insurance for years to come!

Excellent insurance company for your pet insurance. They pay your claims with no hassle. They do not try to find excuses to reduce payments based on "exclusions" as I have experienced with other insurance companies. They follow up to see how your pet did with its illness. If you signed up, for instance, to get 90% reimbursement on your claims, you will get the 90% reimbursement that they promised you when you signed up. I like this company!
