5 Stars!

Healthy Paws has been wonderful. My 17.8 year old Bichon Frise needed spine surgery in May 2017. Healthy Paws they didn't hesitate in providing coverage. Not only did they reimburse me promptly, but their customer service is wonderful -- kind and courteous. They even followed up with me to see how Cody was doing. Their coverage is very generous. I recommend them to every pet owner I talk to. If and when we decide to adopt another dog in the future, I won't hesitate to use Healthy Paws again, I would sign up on day one.

Amazing company that really cares

We are so happy that we picked Healthy Paws as our pet insurance carrier. My Lovey was bitten in January by a stray dog and it costed us $2000. So we bought insurance for her in March to get a piece of mind. With our bad luck, Lovey was limping in June. After couple vets' visits it was determined that she needed surgery. Healthy Paws pay 90% of the costs and they approved the claims in 4 calendar days! I am so impressed with their efficiencies and they send us email in inquiry about Lovey after her surgery. They really care about our pets!

Excellent Experience with Healthy Paws

Simply the best! They've paid both minor claims (oral antibiotics) & major claims (knee surgery) incredibly quickly. I've found submitting the claims takes only a few minutes and they always send a follow-up e-mail to see how my dog is doing. Having encountered the high cost of cancer treatment for several other pets, I decided to look into health insurance for Winnie when I adopted her at one year of age. It's now almost 4 years later and her premium has only minimally increased. With the cost of veterinary procedures climbing (her knee TPLO and associated charges ran close to $6K), I'm incredibly glad to have purchased a Healthy Paws policy for her. My only regret is that they don't offer similar coverage for humans . . .

Best pet insurance out there

A 5-star rating is not high enough for Healthy Paws. They have been incredible. When my extremely healthy Shiba Inu got a life threatening infection (pleural effusion) from a foxtail he had to have major surgery to save his life. The estimate was $10,500. We went ahead with the surgery. When we picked him up 7 days later, I opened the Healthy Paws App, took a photo of the invoice, and hit Submit Claim. I received a confirmation shortly thereafter that a check was being sent. I also received a personal phone call to see how he was doing. Great customer service. Life is unpredictable. Save yourself a lot of anguish and get insurance for your furry friend.

Incredible caring service!

I have only had my puppy for a short time before I realized that I may need insurance of some kind in order to properly care for him without worry. I did a lot of research before I did any purchasing. Heathy Paws was by far the best choice for my buck. What I didn't know is that the customer service would be so wonderful! I feel truly blessed that I chose this insurance. Recently my puppy had to have surgery, they not only kept me in the loop about the processing of my paperwork, but they called the vet to get needed forms and records in order to process my claim. my puppy had his surgery last week and I received my reimbursement today! They even sent me an email asking how he is doing. Incredible caring service! Love this company!
