I am disgusted with the manner is which they review claims with the clear mission of not paying My dog had been vomiting and having diarrhea for a week, went to the vet for an exam and had x ray, blood work and a fecal Because we happened to also order more heart worm meds and gave her a bortdatella vaccine the ins co wrote it all off as a we’ll visit I am angry

Getting Healthy Paws pet insurance was one of the smartest things I ever did.

My dog, Lad, had an intestinal blockage. After the surgery to remove the blockage, the incision got infected. Twenty days and thousands of dollars later, he’s almost back to his old self. I got my Healthy Paws policy about two months ago. The company has been efficient, courteous, and easy to use. They’ve personally contacted me several times to check on Lad’s progress. I was concerned about how much this all cost, but with Healthy Paws insurance, I was able to worry a little bit less about that part of it.

Reassurance During Difficult Time

Healthy Paws made care decisions, claims submission, review, and reimbursement very easy during a difficult time when my pet was unexpectedly sick with a stomach blockage. Highly highly recommend their insurance products. We found Healthy Paws via Wire Cutter and took their advice of highest deductible you can afford and 90% reinsurance. Would recommend this strategy for any dog owner. You never know when catastrophic events may impact your dog - we went from a healthy, vibrant dog one Saturday morning to a dog needing to be admitted to the local pet hospital less than 24 hours later and surgery to remove a blockage less than 24 hours after admission! Healthy Paw policy documents made it clear what was covered and what was not (e.g. exam fees), claim submission is all by document upload, and emails keep you updated on status. Our dog is now bounced back to good health and we're not managing an out sized unexpected payment for his care.

Healthy paws was the best choice for our willow.

If your looking for pet Insurance look no further. We have had healthy paws for 6 years. We have had to use it many times over the years. It’s easy to submit your claims they are fast to issue you your claim and there customer service is great. If your animal is injured they reach out to you to see if they are okay. I will always have pet insurance through them. Animals are like family and they should be protected with a good insurance company.
