We chose Figo

We chose Figo, because their rates and coverage beat out every other company we looked at. We have not been disappointed. Filing claims and getting reimbursed is very quick and easy. We have not had to use our insurance for any medical emergencies yet, and hope that we never will, but the service we have received so far gives me the reassurance that if we ever did, we could make decisions for our dog based on what was the best course of treatment for him, and not just the best treatment we could afford on our own.

FIGO cares about you and your pet

FIGO has paid thousands of dollars in claims for my dog. I have paid thousands in the past for other dogs, but did not have insurance. Having pet insurance makes it possible to provide the best possible care for my pet, particularly in an emergency, without that horrible feeling of going into debt to save your dog's life. FIGO cares - they have sent me cards and emails when my dog was really sick. I could not recommend them more highly. I tell everyone I know with animals to get FIGO.

GREAT PEOPLE, GREAT PET INSURANCE!

I would like to say that I HIGHLY recommend Figo Pet Insurance! This is not only because of the great value you get with the insurance itself , but because of the great customer service care I received from Susan. I had spoke with her a few times and she was not only very professional but was so kind and understanding in regards to my questions and concerns. She listened with care! I want to thank her again and let her supervisor, Judy know just how valuable Susan is to Figo! I also want to thank Lauren for processing my appeal so quickly, ii is much appreciated! Thank you again everyone and my kitties thank you too!!

Monthly Cost

$9 to $135 on average depending on chosen plan.

Coverage

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80%, 90% or 100% after your deductible. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Deductible

$100, $250, $500, $750, $1,000 or $1,500 annually. Deductibles offered depend on pet’s age and location.

Age Limits

Must be 8 weeks or older to enroll. No upper age limits apply.

Waiting Period

1-day for accidents, 14 days for illnesses, 6 months for hip dysplasia and orthopedic conditions. (Both hip dysplasia and orthopedic condition waiting periods can be waived by having exam/waiver form completed by veterinarian)

Exclusions

Curable pre-existing conditions may be eligible for coverage if symptom free for 12 months Conditions arising from a repetitive and specific activity, eg. Ingestion foreign object, ear infection caused by water, snake bites, etc. – excluded after 3 occurrences We now have a wellness option We have a diminishing deductible Copay & deductible waived for emergency life-saving treatment (in the case of an accident, not illness)
