Figo | Pet Insurance Review

My dog had a surgery coming up and I was very nervous being a 21 year old and having to pay for a $700 surgery. I called and spoke to Alfonso and many other customer service workers and they helped me so much. Alfonso was able to keep in contact throughout the week to get my pups medical records and get me preapproved so I was aware of what I was getting back. Everything was great, can’t say enough great things! Have already recommended to so many friends!

Shae responsed quickly to my request for preapproval of services relates to tumor removal for my senior dog. Shae made sure to get my questions to the right area for fast resolution, filed all claims on my behalf and emailed me with regular updates. The claims were paid promptly. I really appreciated Shae’s caring assistance so I could focus my attention on my pet, rather than paperwork!

I had to take the time to share my experience with FIGO because it has been beyond my expectations. When we got our puppy, i did a lot of research and chose FIGO. I have to be honest, I truly did not expect much when I got this policy.. I have heard such negative things In general about pet insurance and that it’s a waste of money as they don’t end up covering anything. Well, I couldn’t have been more wrong. Choosing figo was the best thing I ever did when it came to our dog... we have had many issues with allergies/ear infections and they have covered every visit and the cost of all meds. Just this past weekend our pup got a nasty cut on her leg from hiking and required a trip to the emergency vet. She had to go in for surgery to clean the wound and have it stitched up. I submitted the claim yesterday and figo closed the claim today, just one day later; and they are covering the entire cost! 1000$! They are truly the best. I am so happy with their response time and customer service. Also, I love their app! I am able to keep all of my dogs medical records there and they have many resources on the app if you need help or advice from a vet. I have a friend who has another popular pet insurance and hers is a nightmare In comparison. choose figo, you will not be disappointed!

After extensively researching pet insurance companies, we chose Figo and could not be happier! The policy is extremely fair (even generous for the premium) and the explanation of benefits is incredibly clear - they never try to sneak anything past you. FIGO~ Honestly, I have never had pet insurance before but after searching and researching other companies, I have and continue to recommend FIGO to all new pet owners that I know and that I bump into. Figo was there for us when our dog, Boots, tore her right ACL and needed surgery. They worked with the hospital and paid direct to them to eliminate for us the middle step of payment. Friendly, patient, understanding... these are only a few words to describe who Figo is and what hey are really about.
