Fetch Canada | Pet Insurance Review

I was told on the phone a bunch of great things. Like when you put in a claim it takes a few days to be refunded if I got the wellness added to my pets insurance. But that is not true now that I put in a claim I’m told it can take almost a month. Why was I told a bunch of lies on the phone ? So you could get a new customer? I truly hope it does not take that long because if it does I won’t be staying with fetch. If I get it soon then I will change my review but I’m still not impressed with being told a different story just to hook a new customer

Fetch always claim pre-existing or known issue. It's like going on holiday and your child breaks his arm and you get a hefty bill as you have no insurance. You pay it and your child gets better and all is good. You go on holiday again and this time you get insurance and this time your child breaks his foot, but the insurance company don't pay out as they now know the child has "bones". Two different things but treatment and recovery are the same. Our dog has had VARIOUS skin issues, some are a rash on his groin a few years ago which has never come back, but recently he had bumps on his head and now a skin infection due to scratching and all claims are denied as he had an allergic reaction to something approx 4 years ago. I had a banking issue with one of my reimbursements and they resolved it quickly and respectfully after the passing of my kitty.

Josh was super helpful in answering all my questions about how the Fetch policy works (I've never had pet insurance before, and there were too many to compare and choose from)! He also let me know if I had any further questions I could ask for him by name, which was really great customer service in my opinion! After all my research and Josh's clear explanation of the policy terms, I feel confident in my decision to go with Fetch. They're one of the only affordable pet insurance companies that doesn't increase rates due to a pet's age, and that was just one of the many reasons I felt Fetch was the best choice.
