My dog Bella passed away on Feb 6 2024…
My dog Bella passed away on Feb 6 2024 ,I submitted a claim to Fetch for her Euthanasia etc .,
Feb 16 said claim was in review
Feb 19 received email from Fetch wanting all information from VCA medical records ,for what reason ? they were not the vet who put her down. I had already submitted the medical notes with invoice the day she passed away from my vet.
I called them on Feb 19 was shocked why they needed notes from VCA spoke with Johnny and he said he would take care of calling VCA for me,. What does VCA have to do with this ? it was my other vet who had put Bella my dog down and I had already sent in the medical notes plus details on Feb 6 as it was.
Feb 28,received email from Fetch saying they do not have any information yet from me .. I then had VCA re send me all 39 pages of medical notes from her seizures and situation.
I tried uploading it again and it said I could not submit it,I then called fetch again on Feb 28 and they said they had received everything again on Feb 21 and how things are now resolved,
March 13,received email from fetch how my claim was approved but I have not met the deductible.
I had enough of the drama and emailed Johnny and told him again what happened and he again cancelled my account again for the 2nd time.
After everything I had been through with the loss of my dog Bella,I am heart broken and devastated and traumatised by what happened as she only just turned 3 and then having to deal with Fetch insurance and sending them in over 39 pages on her medical conditions just for her Euthanasia !! when VCA had nothing to do with the euthanasia ,I was shocked by how I got treated by fetch insurance and will never deal with them again. I had to continue to go through this heart breaking situation daily and shocked to why fetch would continue to put me through this.
I have had many dogs in my life and have never experienced something so insensitive as what i went through with Fetch over a claim for my dogs euthanasia on Feb 6 2024..
I wanted to thank Johnny as he was very kind to me. How ever ,what the claims department had put me through its not forgivable at all. They truly dont care about your animals, only getting money from you and to put you through a claim over a euthanasia of your animal then asking for information that has nothing to do with it for no reason at all then putting me through this from Feb 6 2024-until March 13 is not acceptable while I am still healing from my beloved dog who was my world ,my everything and best friend who is now gone forever. Never have I ever experienced anything like this from any other pet insurance companies I had dealt with in the past for my animals .
