Do not use this company!!!

Do not use this company!!!! i have not made a claim since 2020 and my insurance went up $400 a year and their excuse is Dog insurance has gone up in Ontario. That is ridiculous. Every year it’s gone up a normal amount of about $80 a year. It even went down one year But this year it went up $400 and I have not made a claim in 4 years. Horrible, and they know you cant go anywhere because my dog is already 5 years old and to get into another insurance company at this time is impossible. So they know you are stuck and can charge anything they want. Very dishonest company. I will cancel and put the money away myself. There should be laws and limits as to how high they can charge every year DO NOT USE THIS DISHONEST COMPANY!!!!!! Oh and Fetch no need to respond.I have seen your responses with the other people with the same complaint and your responses are lame and meaningless.So please no need to respond

15 day wait period- still waiting 1 month later

15 day wait period that has turned into a full month and still counting for reimbursement. The invoices submitted are not broke down enough so they needed to get broke down more and unfortunately for vet staff such as myself if you get any sort of discount that is an issue as well. Best for vet staff to use a different company that supports staff

Worst Experience ever - Pathetic totally

I had to take my dog to the vet on Jan 10th for which I submitted a claim on Jan 11th 2024 On Jan 25th 2024 I get a notification on the app that the documents are missing and I need to upload the invoice and receipt and previous vaccinations hence I do that On Feb 5th I get notified that I need the documents to be uploaded and they are same set of documents which I uploaded it’s really frustrating when you cannot talk to anyone and all they want to say is “Here is the link to upload the documents” I think before asking us to verify that “I am not a Robot” they should verify themselves that their customers are “Not Dealing with a Robot” NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL !!! WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND ANYONE WITH FETCH PET INSURANCE

Got Fetch insurance based on reviews and cost. Within the first 30days I had my dog in to get a full check up and he passed with flying colors as a healthy happy dog. Then a couple months later I’ve noticed he had a little bit of a limp so I wanted to go get him checked out at the vet to see if it’s anything serious. Fetch immediately denied my claim and hid behind some clause they conveniently had. I will never reccomend this company to anyone they value your money over your pets health!!! Please Stay away at all cost.

I know people worry about the validity of pet insurance, but I can tell you from first-hand experience fetch is the real deal.

I had hoped I would never need pet insurance in my lifetime. After losing my red heeler who was a service animal in October, I was hesitant but got a new dog in November to be a new service animal as I suffer from PTSD from work. Unfortunately he has hookworms that are being very resistant to the medication. He was anemic as a result and he's had complications. I had gotten Fetch during a Black Friday special after comparing them to other insurances and reading the reviews. I must say they have delivered 100%. So far I have gotten all the money I have spent on the insurance plus more back. Without this assistance, it would have been probably impossible for me to keep this dog healthy, which would be criminal. I cannot thank fetch enough for coming through and for having this. Insurance companies can't exist without some profit and I know I'm not adding to that profit but yet they are supporting me.

Monthly Cost

Plans average $35/month for dogs and $25 /month for cats

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80% or 90% after your deductible.

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

Age Limits

Fetch doesn’t enforce upper age limits, so you can enroll your pet any time after it turns six weeks old. Some providers limit coverage for older pets to accident-only. Fetch doesn’t limit coverage by age so that you can get the right care for your buddy, no matter what.

Waiting Period

Fetch’s waiting periods are up to 15 days for accidents and illnesses and six months for orthopedic events.

Exclusions

Fetch won’t cover pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures, boarding costs, breeding costs, wellness care items, or accidents and illnesses that occur during waiting periods.
