Fetch is not worth it

Once Pet Plan sold to some other company and became Fetch, the entire website, app customer service, and coverage went down significantly. Pet Plan was awesome, Fetch is awful. It’s impossible to get a customer service person on the phone, their chat bot is broken, and their coverage has become very scammy. They have increased prices, decreased coverage, increased deductibles, and tried to do this all secretly. I plan to move my pets to another insurance. Add on: Fetch responded that I should call them for help. I have, and the wait times were so long and their hours so short that I didn’t receive any help.

I have several issues with Fetch

I have several issues with Fetch. The first thing is they’re over priced. The other thing is they take more than what they say. They’re going to take out of your account then they don’t wanna refund you. They only wanna give you less than what they took from your account.. They took over $200 from my account and all they wanna refund me is $80 and I have to wait a week to get that $80. But yeah, they’re fast to withdraw it out of your checking account but not to refund you. I don’t recommend this company to no one beware

Huge disappointment

No dicect deposit in Canada except for a few banks. Not mine.

I did not mind the reminders, so I signed up. My only problem so far is that I cannot get direct deposit, as my Bank in Canada is Simplii. Please fix this issue. You can e-transfer now-days with an email address, or phone number, you both have. Easy.

I checked a couple of places for pet…

I checked a couple of places for pet insurance and you were the best value for the price with a lower deductible! I have never had pet insurance on an animal before, so hopefully this works out well.

Monthly Cost

Plans average $35/month for dogs and $25 /month for cats

Coverage

You choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80% or 90% after your deductible.

Annual limit of $5,000, $10,000 or unlimited depending on your chosen plan.

$250, $300 and $500

Age Limits

Fetch doesn’t enforce upper age limits, so you can enroll your pet any time after it turns six weeks old. Some providers limit coverage for older pets to accident-only. Fetch doesn’t limit coverage by age so that you can get the right care for your buddy, no matter what.

Waiting Period

Fetch’s waiting periods are up to 15 days for accidents and illnesses and six months for orthopedic events.

Exclusions

Fetch won’t cover pre-existing conditions, cosmetic procedures, boarding costs, breeding costs, wellness care items, or accidents and illnesses that occur during waiting periods.
