Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I've had multiple great experiences with Embrace. It was easy to set up my insurance plan for my great dane puppy. They are always helpful when I call and claims are processed and refunded quickly.

The dermatitis claim I submitted for my three year old female rotty was denied today, because Embrace says it's a pre-existing condition. She was diagnosed with dermatitis while covered by a pet insurance policy with PetPlan, before being convinced to switch over Embrace, since we're USAA members. There was no gap in coverage between the policies. Embrace is stating that since she was diagnosed with dermatitis before being covered under their policy it would be deemed pre-existing. That's the most insane thing I have ever heard. When I signed up in May 2024, I asked if diagnoses would carry over to the new policy if there was no gap in coverage (same as if a person were to switch insurance policies), but of course Embrace is now telling me that it's in their terms and conditions. That's fine having it in your terms and conditions, but perhaps train your employees to ensure they're not providing incorrect information to your potential customers, because most people are going to assume they are receiving the correct information from an employee of your company. I do not recommend Embrace!

I have had Embrace for 6 years and wouldn't think of going to any other Insurance company. They have been there for everything. Customer service is above and beyond. The turn-around on payment is almost too good to be true!!!! I have recommended them to everyone I know that has a pet.

It took some time to get my claim approved. It was due to the provider not sending invoice. Only recommendation I would give is to contact me if they dont recieve it

The process is fast, easy and efficient.
