Fast turnaround and great support
Can't say enough good about Embrace Pet Insurance. We found them through USAA and have been solid customers for 4 years. We have the wellness plan and the pet insurance. I just submitted a claim and had the funds in my checking account the next day! I had a question about an upcoming surgery for my dog. The representative was supportive and helpful. Give them a try! You will not go to another pet insurance companny.

Made my first illness claim and have been given the hardest time ever getting a resolution and reimbursement, honestly feels like a scam, look at every detail regarding their policy requirements before you make a mistake of signing up. Been dealing with my first claim for 2 months after filing it.

Because I live on a fix income
Because I live on a fix income, it would be great to speed up on approved reimbursements. Otherwise, I'm glad to have my fur baby insured in case of emergency.
Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
