Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Embrace has exceeded my expectations on coverage for my pets. Both 2024 and the start of 2025 have been extremely difficult for one of my pets with Laryngeal Paralysis, and several complications from tie-back surgery. Each time I've submitted a claim, I'm amazed and appreciative at the ease and timing of the process as a whole. Thank you, Embrace!

The insurance we paid for was absolutely useless. Nothing was covered for our dog, no regular health check ups, nothing. I’m sure there are other pet insurance companies that are worth purchasing, but Embrace Pet Insurance certainly is not. Thankfully we cancelled and will look into better pet insurance available.

Easy to file

Have had this coverage for a couple years, but thankfully haven’t needed to use it until recently. I thought the price was high, so called around to other insurers, and Embrace’s premium is actually quite fair and similar to other pet insurance for the same coverage. I chose this one because of their affiliation with USAA and good reputation. I had difficulty uploading documents and making a claim through the app, which is the only reason it wasn’t a five star rating. However, when I called customer service for help, they offered both guidance on using the app and alternate ways to make a claim. The app advice from customer service didn’t work, but they immediately sent an alternate means via email. Turn around and reimbursement was just a couple days. Happy with the service with no plans to look for alternate insurance.

Embrace has been very easy to do business with over the last 4 years. We are so thankful that we elected to get insurance when our dog was a puppy. Embrace claims were easy to file over the years between surgeries and wellness visits. Reimbursement was fast and fair, just as expected. If we ever get another pet, we will certainly get them covered as well. The peace of mind Embrace offers is worth every penny!
