Embrace was there when I needed them

I have only been with Embrace a very short time and my new service dog puppy ate a foreign object that blocked his stomach, intestines, and colon. I contacted embrace from the emergency veterinary hospital after hours and was immediately connected with an actual English speaking person. This individual was knowledgeable and friendly they took all my information and in less than 20 minutes my pet’s surgery was approved and covered to the tune of $8000. I’m so thankful for embrace.

Highly recommend

Our mini dachs has developed mitrovalve disease. This entailed not only a visit to our vet but to a veterinary hospital, where she was given a lot of assistance and kept overnight. Filed claims for these a couple of days ago (have never filed for Embrace Insurance before). A couple of issues had to be straightened out – none of which were Embrace's fault – and had everything completed yesterday. Received my payment today! Highly recommend Embrace to anyone looking for reliable, honest and dependable insurance for their pets.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
