make sure you submit a claim correctly.

If a claim has no issues, everything is excellent. However, I once had to try to give back the money for an invoice my vet had submitted incorrectly. It took months, and it was chaotic. I really love the service, and speed I have with Embrace, but make sure you submit a claim correctly.

I agree that prices have gone up…

I agree that prices have gone up compared to other insurance providers, but honestly, I'm happy because this insurance has always paid me promptly whenever I submit an invoice. I don’t use it often, but when I do, it gives me peace of mind.

Embrace was there when I needed them!

This was my first dog with pet insurance. I spent a lot of time studying my options. I'd had it for four years before I needed it, and then within one week, my dog became ill, requiring surgery, with an estimate over 10K. Without Embrace covering most of it, I wouldn't have been able to go forward with saving my dog's life. Claims were easy. Directions were easy. You may think you don't need it, but when you do, you do!!! So thankful I have this.

Monthly Cost

$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.

Payout Limits

Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.

Deductible

Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll. New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage. Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active. Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian. Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
