Buyer Beware - Small Print Clauses
Buyer beware. Small print clauses. Wouldn't work with us on a pretty common sense issue regarding orthopedic issues in the first six months. She was limping a little after getting up but went away after a few steps so I took her in for a check. In the app, I picked limp/lameness from the drop down on the claim because there aren’t a lot of choices. They denied my claim for pre-existing orthopedic issues and said I can never use their insurance for any related issues in her life. She was never diagnosed with dysplasia or lameness. I got an $800 estimate for X-rays from the vet but not doing it because nothing will be covered. We tried talking to the insurance company hoping they would see this as an app triggered unfounded misunderstanding. They couldn’t understand what the issue was. This is a mutt puppy mind you and not a hip issue prone breed. Not getting another cent of my money and lucky I don’t try to collect the first couple months of premiums I wasted money on.
Your reply about small print and fraud blow right by the point. It was obviously not fraud with a puppy and was never diagnosed anyway, just enough legal BS to keep making money and blame the consumer. I see more bad reviews than good so I am guessing you will fold or change names. I really wish there was a local office to visit.
