Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

I am a vet tech and I use embrace to cover what my employee discounts do not. I have never had an issue getting things paid for, even with the latest products for heartworm and flea, or new vaccinations. I have known other companies to not remburse customers for those things. I also always get my money direct deposited in a short amount of time.

I've got 2 rescue pit bulls that love to get into anything and everything they can find. Recently my male Mason, had gotten a hold of a mouse that was contaminated with poison. We didn't know it was contaminated until a few days later his jaw swelled up twice the size of his head and he was bleeding profusely through his mouth. He was rushed to the emergency room where he had to have plasma and IV's just to make it through the night. In the morning we took him to his vet and spent another 4 days hospitalized. I filed my claim worried that it would not be accepted. I'm thankful it was because it has helped me so much!! Embrace staff is very understanding and has even emailed me to see how my pets are doing after their claims. They are awesome and I have told all of my friends with pets that they are the insurance to have!

This definitely helps pay the bills, even if just for annual wellness exams.

Pancho was rescued when he was a three month old Pomeranian mix puppy. Although he had not been very well taken care of, I thought that if he was given a quality diet in a clean and friendly environment, we would be able to avoid future health problems. But with poor little Pancho, if it isn't one thing, it is another. Shortly after bringing him home, I researched various pet health insurance companies. Embrace stood out because of their allowances and coverage policies. Getting the vet's office to submit claims when Pancho came down with a problem was the hardest part. Once the vet took seriously the fact that Pancho had health insurance, there was no problem getting reimbursed for the actions the had to take to test and remedy the problems Pancho has had. Now, Pancho seems to be in good health. I am very thankful that Embrace has been there for both of us. This pet insurance has given Pancho a better, healthier life than he would have had without Embrace.

I previously had SPCA pet insurance and Embrace is much better. They offer many different customizable levels of coverage and they are generally quick about paying claims. Perhaps the best part is that they cover conditions that most companies will not cover (hip dysplasia in labs for instance).
