Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

Having dealt with the so-called leader in pet insurance, we were thoroughly impressed with how easy it was to file our first claim with Embrace, how responsive they were and how quickly they processed everything. The amount paid was exactly what we expected - no hidden reductions or benefit caps.

When my last dog was a puppy, there wasn't wellness care or cancer coverage so I decided not to purchase insurance. Last year my dog passed away from Lymphoma cancer and decided to search for pet insurance that had extensive coverage options. When researching insurance policies and coverage, Embrace had a wealth of coverage including wellness and cancer coverage among other health issues and pre-existing conditions which other insurance companies tend not to cover so I decided to take a chance. All of the people at Embrace have been extremely helpful including answering all my questions. When my new puppy was spayed, I submitted my bills and was reimbursed promptly under my wellness policy. It was hassle-free and quick to receive payment. Wellness coverage is a plus and well worth it. I would recommend Embrace to any pet owner.

I've only filed one claim on my Boerboel, but that claim was handled expeditiously and to my satisfaction (not an easy feat since I am one of *those* dog moms who wants to know/understand everything)

I adopted a 7-year old golden/collie mix, Angelo, two months ago. Because we had spent a lot last May when our late dog was critically ill with meningitis, I decided to buy pet insurance when we got Angelo. Angelo had been with us only a short time when we noticed that his third eyelid was showing. Our vet recommended an MRI. Embrace covered a substantial amount of the cost and reimbursed us quickly. I would definitely recommend Embrace to other pet owners.

As the owner of 3 golden retrievers and previous owner of 4 previous dogs. I think Embrace is awesome! (I hate that word but there is no other word to describe the attentive service I receive from the staff)! I have previously used VPI and can't believe the difference. I even received a personal note from Laura Bennett, Chief Embracer and Co-Founder to be sure that everything was going smoothly for me. I am really impressed. My first claim was processed quickly and easily and I received a check in about a week. I received emails to keep me informed during the whole process. The claims are based on a percentage of actual fees not some random figure pulled out of the air. I am definitely a fan.
