Embrace | Pet Insurance Review

This was my first experience with any pet insurance. I was advised by our breeder to purchase specifically Embrace. I currently have a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Spring Spaniel I immediately purchased when we brought them home. Our Berner had got into trash while we were away on vacation and had a possible obstruction. She spent 24 hours in an emergency vet clinic with out fingers crossed surgery wasn't needed. We had numbers thrown at us from $1500 to $7000 which can be a bit overwhelming, but in the back of my head I thought well we have this insurance lets see how good it really is. Dakota thank goodness did not need surgery and was able to come home to us after 24 hours. I put the claim in without ANY issues. It took a few days and when I received the e-mail they literally gave me EVERYTHING down to the penny back that I could have possibly received based on my plan. This is such a piece of mind and something I will NEVER go without again. I have told all my friends and family who own pets or are thinking about getting one to sign up. It costs me a total of $80.00 for both a month and gives nothing but a piece of mind it is truly the best thing I have ever done.

We have had several pet insurance companies over the past five years and only Embrace has been the one to honestly try to get my claims paid. They work hard to see if there is a way to settle any and all claims quickly and efficiently. They honestly look for a way to settle all my claims, whereas other companies try to find a way not to pay a claim. And they do so without a lot of form filling and continuous demands of more information regarding any claim I had submitted. With Embrace, my vet faxes in the form and Embrace tries to get each and every section of the claim paid quickly. They are in constant e-mail contact with me advising me of the progress of the claim (which is what I really like).

My 5 year old dog Maggie had two fractured upper back teeth. The extractions had to occur under general anesthesia. This was very expensive for me. After Embrace reviewed my claim, the Explanation of Benefits showed that the only amount not covered was the 10 percent co-pay and the remaining balance Embrace fully covered. The medications, the lab tests, routine dental cleaning, peridontal treatment, xrays, the oral surgery and more. It was such a relief to receive the reimbursement because the final costs was pretty expensive for me. Having this really great pet insurance means that I don't have second thoughts about getting care for my dog. Embrace has also covered two previous smaller claims. The staff is helpful, concerned, friendly. They always make sure that I understand the process, re-assure me about when they will review the claim and how long to expect a response from them. One review took a little longer than usual, but Embrace was in contact with me to let me know this. I wasn't left hanging. I always highly recommend Embrace Pet Insurance to anyone when I have the opportunity because I have been so satisfied, and my Maggie receives the care she needs.

I decided to get on board right away with my new puppy, a toy fox terrier, after having owned 2 others, without insurance. So far they have been very patient with my questions as I can't always keep track. They are quick and efficient with reimbursement as well. I have seen many positive comments and came across one from a former veterinarian who moved from my area.Thanks

I was skeptial about pet insurance. This is my first time, after much research I picked Embrace. Owning 4 dogs, expenses can add up. When we adopted the 2 youngest sisters as pups we decided to get pet insurance, our other 2 dogs are really too old. At the age of 1 1/2 yrs old Trixie developed hip dysplasia, she could not walk on her leg. She had surgery and they covered exactly what we thought. There was a billing mix up at our vets and they did not send in the correct bills. Embrace helped put with the problem and honored the contact. We are very pleased. Would definitely recommend.
