Amazing
Embrace is amazing, the absolute best. Prompt claim processing. They cover exactly what they say they do, no gimmicks with Embrace and they have fabulous customer service. Embrace has "RESTORED" my belief in credible pet insurance for our beloved pets. Thank You Embrace!!

As good as I hoped they'd be.
This was our first pet insurance after 40 years of owning pets. Surprisingly, first time was the charm. I did not want a "scheduled" type of policy.......they always seem to wiggle out of coverage somehow. The Embrace - deductible then 80%(in our policy) of charge covered - type is much easier to deal with. AND, the staff certainly made it easy. Their communication was timely and I never wondered what was going on with the claims. We are very pleased with the service and the amount reimbursed was just as we thought it should be. What more could one ask?

I loved Embrace until......
I actually had to use it. My dog got hit today and suffered a broken leg and I'm not sure what else at this time. In my error I didn't complete a Dr. Health record on my dog. Therefore they won't cover anything not even putting him to sleep until after 6 months, I've been with them for 5 months. His injuries are obviously recent and impact related, nothing pre-existing what so ever. I call it an insurance LOOP HOLE, a way of getting out of paying for their insured. Customer service is decent, the plan affordable and the reviews great. I just can't believe the company in pet care doesn't really care. Very sad my son and I our loosing our four legged family member over a piece of paper.

Monthly Cost
$13 – $100, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30% after your deductible, depending on your chosen plan.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $2000, $5000, $10,000 or $15,000.
Deductible
Annual deductible options from $100 – $1,000.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 6 weeks old to enroll.
New pets over 14 are eligible for accident-only coverage.
Once enrolled, pets can stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
There is a two-week illness waiting period, which begins on your policies’ effective date. Orthopedic conditions have additional Waiting or exclusion periods that vary by state.
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
Hereditary and congenital conditions are covered if they have not been diagnosed or suspected before the policy becomes active.
Main plan covers alternative treatments such as chiropractic, acupuncture and homeopathic when provided by a licensed veterinarian.
Optional wellness and prescription drug plans are available for an additional cost.
